T&Cs

By booking a grooming appointment with The Pamper Pod you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

Booking/Cancellation/Late Arrival policy

A 50% deposit will be taken to confirm your dog's appointment. A payment link will be forwarded to you by text. The balance will be payable on collection of your dog.

You are able to cancel or amend your booking up to 24 hours before your dog's appointment. Any cancellations or amendments within the 24-hour period will result in loss of your deposit.

What happens if I'm late for my grooming appointment?

I will always try to complete your dog's groom. However, in the event that this is not possible, you may need to book a follow-up appointment to complete the groom and there will be an additional charge for this.

Matting policy

When a dog is presented with a badly matted coat it is my policy to recommend to shave/clip the whole coat using clippers with a short blade. Matts cause excessive wear and tear on equipment and extra time which will incur an extra fee of £15 on top of the regular grooming price.

In instances of matted dogs please refer to my waiver here. I reserve the right to refuse to work with severely matted dogs and may suggest a referral to a vet.

Fleas/Infestations

Should your dog be found to have fleas, or similar infestation on arrival, I reserve the right to refuse to groom your dog. This will result in the loss of the prepaid deposit and any additional costs incurred from deep cleaning of my salon afterwards. Another appointment can be arranged after the dog has been treated and the coat no longer shows any sign of infestation.

Aggressive Behaviour

Please inform me if your dog does not tolerate grooming procedures, bites, or has bitten a groomer in the past. I reserve the right to stop a groom if your dog is becoming overly aggressive or is biting.
